Ingredients

  • Crisp Topping:
  • 1/4 cup - quinoa flakes
  • 1/2 cup - whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup - brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup - rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup - butter or Earth Balance butter alternative, softened
  • Filling:
  • 3 - gala apples
  • 1 - lemon juice
  • 1 - lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup - fresh whole cranberries
  • 3 TBSP - brown sugar
  • 1 TSP - cinnamon
  • 1/4 TSP - nutmeg
  • 1/2 TSP - vanilla

Notes

Tips:
You may choose to use frozen cranberries. If so, let thaw before mixing with apples. Substitutions: You may choose to leave cranberries out of this recipe. You could also use rice flour for a gluten free version of this dessert.
