You can taste the complex texture and flavour that homemade granola brings. Not to mention it makes your house smell amazing! We love this customizable Sea Salt and Olive Oil Granola. There’s nothing better than having a batch of homemade granola on hand for snacking and breakfast on-the-run.

EVOO has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. One such compound is called oleocanthal, and it works similarly to ibuprofen, an anti-inflammatory drug.

Sea Salt and Olive Oil Granola

Sea Salt and Olive Oil Granola Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 45 mins Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 1 cup - rolled oats, gluten-free
  • 1 cup - almonds, chopped
  • 1/2 cup - pepitas
  • 2 TBSP - flaxmeal
  • 1/3 cup - sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 TSP - flaky sea salt
  • 1/2 cup - maple syrup
  • 2 TBSP - brown rice syrup
  • 1/3 cup - olive oil
  • 1 TSP - vanilla
  • 3/4 cup - golden raisins

Instructions

  1. 1 Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients — use your hands to make sure everything is well-combined and coated evenly. Add evenly to a parchment lined baking sheet.
  2. 2 Bake for 30 minutes at 300F, then raise temperature to 350F and bake another 10-12 minutes or until golden and toasted. Set aside to cool. Then, serve with your favorite nut milk or greek yogurt.
