SUPERFOOD // ALMONDS:

Instead of making cookies with white flour, try making this recipe with almond flour.  Almond flour is made from ground up almonds and is grain and gluten free.  Almonds are a good source of vitamin E, which is an important vitamin that acts as an antioxidant, protecting cells from oxidative damage.  Studies have even looked at how vitamin E plays a role in preventing Alzheimer’s disease.
