Did you know that approximately 70% of your immune systems cells are developed and reside in your gut? Did you also know that up to 90% of serotonin (the ‘feel good’ neurotransmitter) is also developed in the gut and not the brain? These incredible discoveries have not only gotten medical professionals to pay very close attention to the impact of diet on brain and overall health, but has also allowed them to help prevent and treat many modern day diseases through diet alone. As a holistic nutritionist, I find the entire digestive cascade extremely fascinating, and place a large emphasis on healing the gut when working with my clients. My modo is simple!
