Chickpeas are known for their nutty flavour and grainy texture. The legumes are packed with nutrients including minerals like manganese, folate, iron, and zinc. They are also a great source of plant based protein, fibre and good quality fat. 

Chickpeas make the perfect addition to salads, soups, and snacks including this incredible dish. This recipe is a twist on the classic, chickpea-based,  homemade hummus. However, this version uses additional superfoods like roasted yams, garlic, and turmeric.
