Chia Seeds are an amazing source of healthy fats and are high in omega-3 fatty acids. Since our brain is made up of 60% fat, so it only makes sense that we should be nourishing it with healthy fats. Omega-3 fatty acids help to send more oxygen to the brain which help to retain new information and to recall old information. One of my favourite ways to enjoy chia is in my Overnight Strawberry Chia Pudding on pg. 157 in my book Joyous Health.
