SUPERFOOD // KALE
Kale is one of the most loved superfoods out there for many reasons – it’s antioxidant potency, it’s indole-3-carbinol phytonutrient that aids in DNA cell repair but also for it’s omega-fatty acids profile. Omega-fatty acids are considered “essential” because the body needs them for optimal health, but it cannot be manufactured by the body itself. The omega-fatty acids in Kale contain specific compounds which help to regulate blood clotting and build cell membranes in the brain. Give it a try in my Warm Beet and Kale Bowl!
