Warm Chocolate Cherry Coconut Smoothie

Warm Chocolate Cherry Coconut Smoothie Prep time: 5 mins Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 6 - brazil nuts
  • 2 TBSP - hemp hearts
  • 2 TSP - raw cacao powder
  • 1 TBSP - cold pressed virgin coconut oil
  • 1 cup - cherries (pitted)
  • 3 - medjool dates (pitted)
  • 2 TSP - raw, unpasteurized honey
  • Pinch sea salt
  • 1/4 cup - room temperature water
  • 1 – 1 1/2 cups - hot water (to preferred consistency)
  • 1 - chocolate protein powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1 In a blender, add 1/4 cup room temperature water with brazil nuts and hemp hearts and blend on high. Add all other ingredients including half of the hot water and blend until smooth. Add the remaining hot water and blend. Serve hot.

Notes

Substitutions:
Use almond milk or coconut milk in place of water.
